EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and / or Reiki may be able to help you.

 

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) - also sometimes known as MTT (Meridian Tapping Techniques ) is a very flexible self-improvement tool that can be used for just about everything. EFT, one of the modern “energy meridian” therapies, can be used as a self-administered tool that enables and empowers you, the user.

Using EFT regularly can enable you to tap into those hidden resources that lie deep inside all of us, tapping into that potential within, allowing it to blossom more freely. This, in turn, allows you to move forwards in your life, filled with confidence and self-belief, rather than fear and doubt. With regular use of EFT, the sky’s the limit.

My speciality is hormonal imbalances and the use of EFT to help deal with the hormonal 'tizzy' that can accompany puberty and menopause and those PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome) times in between.

The EFT approach addresses the underlying energetic patterns and the goal is to bring back balance and harmony within your energetic field. In turn, this can have positive effects on the body’s physiology.  Get the body’s energy field balanced and flowing without disruption, and the body can naturally sort itself out.

It may seem a very odd way to deal with the symptoms of menopause, but this novel approach can afford a natural alternative to HRT as we work with the energy structure that underlies the emotions that may create the symptoms.

Reiki is a Japanese word which represents Universal Life Energy. It is an oriental art of natural energy healing dating back to its founder, Mikao Usui, in the late 19th/early 20th century.  

Reiki can be used on yourself, or on others. It is non-intrusive, restorative and balancing to the body’s energy system, promoting balance, self-healing, self-development and spiritual development.

I utilize both of these gentle, simple, yet extremely effective energy techniques in sessions tailored to work to your unique, individual requirements.

In all cases the outcome we are working towards is YOUR personal empowerment, enabling you to find wholeness in your life at all levels of being, to solve problems and enhance your experience of life.

These energy therapies not only aid the body to help and heal itself when in sickness, and support it when in health, but are also powerful tools for self-empowerment and to promote personal and spiritual development.

Both EFT and Reiki are complementary to other forms of healing, and can be used in conjunction with the allopathic medical model and other complementary therapies. If ever in doubt about any symptoms you may have, always seek advice from a qualified medical practitioner.

I am Karen Lewis, an AAMET Level 3 EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Practitioner and Reiki Master - Teacher Practitioner.

I work from my home practice in Featherstone,  on the Staffordshire and West Midlands border in the U.K. I am also available for  EFT telephone or Skype consultations (excluding Canada and the USA).

This is a great advantage of EFT as it allows me to guide you through the process by phone and you can obtain the same beneficial results as an 'in-person' visit. So you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home to take advantage of the benefits of EFT!

I offer a free 15 minute mini-consultation (weekday afternoons between 4 and 6pm GMT/BST) by telephone or Skype if you want to have a little chat about what EFT might be able to do for you. If you feel it could be something to explore further an appointment  can then be made.

I am currently a member of the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques (AAMET), and an Embody Professional Member of the Complementary Therapists Association.
