From the North

FROM THE NORTH

If travelling down the M6 you need to get off at Junction 11 - just before Hilton Services.

Beware of the M6 Toll - (11A) you must stay in the left hand lanes to avoid the toll road.

At the J11 island take the 4th exit (A460 signposted Wolverhampton).

Continue along this until you reach the first set of traffic lights.

Turn right at these lights into New Road.

Take the 2nd left (about 400 yards) into Baneberry Drive.

Take the 2nd left (just after the community centre) into Turnstone Drive.

Take the 2nd right into Dunlin Drive (with the very large road sign).

Thistledown Drive is the first right.

FROM THE EAST

Travelling along the A5 cross over the Toll road (3 new islands!) and after passing the Caterpillar factory on the left take 2nd exit at the island (Longford House on right, Halfords / McDonalds / Pizza Hut on left) A460 - Wolverhampton.

Carry along this road and over an island and you will reach the M6 Junction 11 (Laney Green).  Take the 3rd exit (A460 signposted Wolverhampton). Continue here.

Travelling along the M6 Toll you need to take the 2nd exit after the main toll plaza. This will bring you to the M6 J11 island. Continue here.

If you are travelling up the M6 from the East Midlands then carry on to J10A and take the M54.

FROM THE SOUTH

If travelling from the South get on the M6 northbound.

At Junction 10A bear left up the M54.

Take the first exit (J1) and at the island take the third exit (A460 - Cannock).

If travelling from Wolverhampton take the A460 Cannock Road.

At the M54 island take the second exit (A460 - Cannock).

After 200 yards take the left turn (adjacent to a Post Office and a Church) into The Avenue.

Take the 5th right into Turnstone Drive (just after the 5th speed bump!)

Take the 2nd left into Dunlin Drive.

Take the 1st right into Thistledown Drive.

FROM THE WEST

If travelling from the West we recommend that you make your way to the M54.

At Junction 1 take the exit and the 1st left at the island (A460 - Cannock).

After 200 yards take the left turn (adjacent to a Post Office and a Church) into The Avenue.

Take the 5th right into Turnstone Drive (just after the 5th speed bump!)

Take the 2nd left into Dunlin Drive.

Take the 1st right into Thistledown Drive.

If travelling down the A5 you need to turn right at the Gailey island (A449 to Wolverhampton).

After a mile or so you will find some newly installed traffic lights. At the second of these turn left (signposted Featherstone). After passing some houses you go over a canal bridge.

A few hundred yards further on there is a left turn into New Road (signposted to the MOT centre). If you miss this you will go over another canal bridge and end up back on the A449!

Follow this road past the prisons and look out for a hotel / restaurant (Featherstone Hall Farm / The King's Repose) on the left.

You will enter a 40mph zone.

Take the 2nd right into Baneberry Drive.

Take the 4th right into Turnstone Drive.

Take the 2nd right into Dunlin Drive.

Take the 1st right into Thistledown Drive.
